From The Queen of British Mystery to the American Idol

I’ve been working at the jewelry booth a lot recently, which means getting a lot of books read. So, here’s a review of two of the latest – both autobiographies, but…well, a bit different from each other.

First, An Autobiography by Agatha Christie. Dame Christie led a fascinating life, gallivanting across Europe, the Middle East, and elsewhere, in 560 pages of fun. I haven’t read too much of her work, but her autobiography is fascinating and remarkably well-written, with her personality oozing through the details.

  1. I believe I’ve read nearly all of her works when I was young, but unfortunately couldn’t tell you a thing about any of them because I was also into many other mystery writer’s works and they’ve all mushed up together now. LOL But, yes, she was quite colorful.
